I absolutely love working with children, helping them overcome individual challenges, and supporting and empowering families. This work has given my life a deep sense of purpose that I do not take lightly. One of my favorite quotes is, “Children see magic, because they look for it.” Children remind us to slow down, stay curious, find joy in learning, and believe in what is possible. Thank you for trusting me with the most precious thing in your world—your child. Every child is unique, and my goal is to help families understand their child’s individual strengths and areas for growth. Most importantly, I want families to leave the evaluation process with a clear understanding of next steps and how to best support their child moving forward. I often describe the evaluation process as being like a detective—there are many pieces to the puzzle, and my role is to thoughtfully bring them together to create a clear, meaningful picture of your child. This comprehensive process includes developmental history, educational records, parent and teacher input, observations, the child’s perspective, and standardized assessment across multiple areas. For our adult clients, it takes courage to say, “I need help” or “I cannot do this alone.” I understand this personally, as I have faced and overcome significant challenges throughout my own life and have relied on support from mentors, educators, coaches, the military, and mental health professionals. I believe strongly that no one has to navigate difficulties alone, and I would be honored to support you on your journey. I have specialized experience working with children with autism and intellectual disabilities. During my time as a school psychologist, I worked on campuses with specialized programs designed to meet the needs of students requiring intensive and individualized supports. This experience has shaped my approach to assessment and collaboration with families and schools. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Arizona State University, followed by a Master’s degree in Educational Psychology and a Doctorate in School Psychology from Argosy University. I am a Nationally Certified School Psychologist with eight years of experience working in school settings. As a result, I have a strong understanding of special education processes, school-based interventions, and what educational teams need from an evaluation. While the evaluations I conduct are clinical in nature, I always approach them with the school environment in mind. I look forward to working with you and helping you navigate the path toward success.

As a mother myself, I understand the rewards and challenges that come with parenting. Unfortunately, there is no manual that tells us how to navigate the world of meeting our child’s needs. Just when you think you’ve figured out one child, the other(s) are completely different and you feel like you are starting from scratch. I’ve learned that it is OK to need support, advice, and guidance from others. I believe that it takes a village, and building your support network is invaluable in supporting your children!
I obtained my undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon, in Eugene, OR, and my doctorate degree from Northern Arizona University, in Flagstaff AZ. I have been working with individuals with disabilities such as autism, ADHD, anxiety, and other behavioral challenges for the past 8 years. My educational career has afforded me the opportunity to work with a diverse population ranging in age from 2 to adult. As a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP), I understand the needs of children in the school setting with an extensive background and knowledge of IEPs and the IEP process. I truly enjoy being able to provide parents with support from the lens of a private psychologist, school psychologist, and parent.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two children, and two dogs. We enjoy traveling, hiking, biking, and anything outdoors.
